HAF+: Reflection, Planning, and Owning Your Progress

Are you relying on others to help you achieve your goals? Do you expect others to care more about your progress than you do? If so, you may be setting yourself up for disappointment.

While having a supportive network of friends, family, and colleagues can help you achieve your goals, ultimately, it's up to you to care about your progress and take action to achieve your goals.

That's where HAF+ comes in. HAF+ is an exercise designed to help you reflect on your progress and plan for the future. By identifying your hurdles, ahas, and fixes from the previous week and setting three achievable goals for the upcoming week, you can gain greater awareness of your strengths and areas for improvement.

But the key to success with HAF+ is to care about your progress and goals more than anyone else. You can't rely on others to motivate you or hold you accountable. You have to be the one who cares enough to take action, even when it's hard.

When you care about your progress and goals, you're more likely to take ownership of your successes and failures. You'll be more willing to put in the time and effort required to achieve your goals and less likely to give up when things get tough.

On the other hand, if you expect others to care more about your progress and goals than you do, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Others may offer support and encouragement but need help to do the work for you. Ultimately, you have to be the one who cares enough to take action and make progress.

So, if you're struggling to achieve your goals, ask yourself: do you care enough? Are you willing to take ownership of your progress and do the work required to achieve your goals? If yes, then HAF+ can be a valuable tool to help you reflect on your progress and plan for the future. But if the answer is no, it may be time to re-evaluate your goals and priorities and find something you truly care about.

Remember, you are the one who cares about your progress and goals the most. Refrain from relying on others to do the work for you. Take ownership, take action, and achieve your goals.
